Illinois High School Basketball - Richmond-Burton holds off Rochelle
December 21, 2024: Richmond, IL 60071 The Richmond-Burton Rockets basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Rochelle Hubs to 66 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Rockets now have a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Glenbard South for a non-league game on Monday, December 23. Richmond-Burton will confront a Raiders team coming off a 52-22 non-league loss to Marengo (Marengo, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Rochelle falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Hubs travel to Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL) to confront the Thunder in a non-league game on Monday, December 23. The Thunder go into the game with a record of 1-5. Woodstock North lost 67-34 in their recent non-league game against Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL)
