December 21, 2024: Convent Station, NJ 07961 In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Mountain Lakes Lakers basketball team scored a good 31-17 triumph over the Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers.
The Lakers (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hackettstown (Hackettstown, NJ). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Hackettstown was toppled by Belvidere (Belvidere, NJ), 51-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Newton Braves (Newton, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 26. Academy of St. Elizabeth will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Braves go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 61-27 league win over Vernon (Vernon, NJ).
