Southwestern Piasa Birds (Piasa, IL) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Lincolnwood Lancers (Raymond, IL), 35-19 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Southwestern advances its record to 6-6 on the year. The Piasa Birds host Carrollton (Carrollton, IL) to meet the Hawks in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 9-4. Carrollton won 51-34 in their recent non-league match against Pleasant Hill/Western (Pleasant Hill, IL)
