December 21, 2024: Texico, NM 88135 Tohatchi Cougars (Tohatchi, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Texico Wolverines (Texico, NM), 32-25 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Tohatchi upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM) to face the Broncos in a non-league match on Thursday, January 2. The Broncos enter the match with a record of 7-1. Kirtland Central won 56-48 in their recent non-league match against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM)
The Wolverines now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Capitan for a non-league match on Friday, January 3. Texico will face a Tigers squad coming off a 56-36 non-league loss to Dexter (Dexter, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 3-6.
