Iowa High School Basketball - English Valleys can't hold off Lynnville-Sully
December 22, 2020: Sully, IA 50251 The Lynnville-Sully Hawks basketball team scored 34 points and restricted the visiting English Valleys Bears to 28 in the Hawks league victory on Tuesday.
The Hawks now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belle Plaine for a South Iowa Cedar contest on Tuesday, January 5. Lynnville-Sully will battle a Plainsmen team coming off a 64-61 league win over H-L-V (Victor, IA). The Plainsmen record now stands at 7-1.
The Bears (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Montezuma (Montezuma, IA). The Braves come into the South Iowa Cedar contest with a 9-1 record.
