Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ) and the host Cibola Raiders (Yuma, AZ), saw Willow Canyon's basketball squad knock off Cibola by a tally of 71-53.

With the victory, Willow Canyon improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 1. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Metro Tech lost 51-45 in their recent non-league challenge against West Point (Avondale, AZ)

Next up, the Raiders play the Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 4. Cibola will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 74-58 non-league win over Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ).
