California High School Basketball - Edison overwhelms Hollywood
December 22, 2021: Los Angeles, CA 90028 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Edison Chargers (Huntington Beach, CA) and the host Hollywood Sheiks (Los Angeles, CA), saw Edison's basketball squad wallop Hollywood by a tally of 81-36.
With the victory, Edison improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Gardena (Gardena, CA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 23. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Gardena won 48-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Monrovia (Monrovia, CA)
Next up, the Sheiks confront the Monroe Vikings (North Hills, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 3. Hollywood will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 69-20 league loss to Poly (Sun Valley, CA).
