December 22, 2022: East Longmeadow, MA 01028 The East Longmeadow Spartans (East Longmeadow, MA) basketball felled the visiting Easthampton/Hampshire Eagles (Easthampton, MA), 48-29 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Spartans (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Minnechaug Regional (Wilbraham, MA). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Minnechaug Regional was beaten by Longmeadow (Longmeadow, MA), 70-48, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Ludlow for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 27. Easthampton/Hampshire will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 68-41 league win over Mount Everett Regional (Sheffield, MA). The Lions record now stands at 4-0.
