Louisiana High School Basketball - Northlake Christian trounces St. John
December 22, 2023: Covington, LA 70433 The Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA) basketball crushed the visiting St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA), 45-24 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wolverines now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Teurlings Catholic for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Northlake Christian will meet a Rebels team coming off a 63-25 non-league win over Franklin (Franklin, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 10-3.
The Eagles (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Westminster Academy triumphed over East St. John (Reserve, LA), 62-47, in a non-league contest.
