The Evansville Central Bears nipped the visiting Plainfield Quakers basketball squad by a final score of 59-56 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next, the Bears face the Warsaw Tigers (Warsaw, IN) in a non-league game, on Monday, December 22. Evansville Central will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 11-1 record after their 70-46 non-league win over Columbia City (Columbia City, IN).
