In Thursday's league test, the visiting Hand Tigers ice hockey team scored a tight 3-2 win over the Cheshire Rams.

The Tigers (1-3) will now prepare for their test against North Branford (North Branford, CT). The Thunderbirds enter the Southern Connecticut - DII test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, North Branford was nipped by Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT), 6-0, in a non-league test.

Next up, the Rams encounter the Watertown/Pomperaug Indians (Watertown, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - DII test, on Tuesday, December 28. Cheshire will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
