The Lakewood Leopards were victorious over the host Union Spartans basketball squad by a final score of 59-39 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Leopards confront the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 26. Lakewood will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record.

With the loss, Union falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Lakewood (Roseboro, NC) to confront the Leopards in a Carolina 1A/2A game on Tuesday, January 6. The Leopards go into the game with a record of 5-3.
