California High School Basketball - Porterville overwhelmed by De La Salle
December 27, 2021: Concord, CA 94518 The De La Salle Spartans basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Porterville Panthers to 39 in the Spartans non-league victory on Monday.
The Spartans now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to California for a East Bay contest on Wednesday, January 5. De La Salle will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 63-37 non-league win over Antioch (Antioch, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-4.
The Panthers (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mayfair (Lakewood, CA). The Monsoons come into the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Mayfair was routed by Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA), 68-42, in a non-league contest.
