Indiana High School Basketball - Clay City fells Mitchell
December 27, 2022: Clay City, IN 47841 Clay City Eels (Clay City, IN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN), 47-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Clay City upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Eels travel to Washington Catholic (Washington, IN) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 0-8. Washington Catholic lost 70-57 in their recent non-league bout against Dugger Union (Dugger, IN)
Next up, the Bluejackets clash with the Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Mitchell will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 63-52 non-league loss to Owen Valley (Spencer, IN).
