Illinois High School Basketball - Ridgeview nips Stark County
December 27, 2022: Colfax, IL 61728 Ridgeview Mustangs (Colfax, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL), 42-41 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Ridgeview upgrades its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Lexington (Lexington, IL) to play the Minutemen in a Heart Of Illinois bout on Monday, January 2. The Minutemen come into the bout with a record of 5-9. Lexington lost 51-21 in their recent non-league bout against Salt Fork (Sidell, IL)
Next up, the Rebels play the Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons (Gibson City, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Stark County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 65-28 non-league loss to Neoga (Neoga, IL).
