With the victory, Gold Beach betters its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Waldport (Waldport, OR) to battle the Irish in a 2A Valley Coast contest on Thursday, January 4. The Irish come into the contest with a record of 5-6. Waldport won 60-13 in their recent non-league contest against Alsea (Alsea, OR)
The (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR). The Bruins come into the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Brookings-Harbor was defeated by Siuslaw (Florence, OR), 70-35, in a non-league contest.
