Michigan High School Basketball - Blissfield can't hold off Brandywine

December 27, 2023: Niles, MI 49120

The Brandywine Bobcats basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Blissfield Royals to 43 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bobcats now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hart for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Brandywine will battle a Pirates team coming off a 67-20 league win over North Muskegon (North Muskegon, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 3-1.

The Royals (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Dexter (Dexter, MI). The Dreadnaughts enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Dexter nudged Chelsea (Chelsea, MI), 36-34, in a non-league contest.
