Michigan High School Basketball - Lansing Catholic can't hold off Mumford
December 27, 2023: Lansing, MI 48912 The Mumford Mustangs basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Lansing Catholic Cougars to 43 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gabriel Richard for a Catholic Central contest on Thursday, December 28. Mumford will battle a Fighting Irish team coming off a 43-30 non-league win over Lansing Catholic (Lansing, MI). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 7-0.
The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Eaton Rapids (Eaton Rapids, MI). The Greyhounds come into the Capital Area - White contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Eaton Rapids was nudged by Haslett (Haslett, MI), 67-21, in a non-league contest.
