Texas High School Basketball - Victoria East succumbs to Brenham

In Friday's non-league test, the Brenham Cubs (Brenham, TX) basketball squad defeated the host Victoria East Titans (Victoria, TX), by a score of 59-51.

Next, the Cubs clash with the Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 28. Brenham will attempt to improve on its 15-6 season record. The Matadors come into the test with a 7-10 record after their 59-58 league loss to Jefferson (San Antonio, TX).

The Titans (12-10) will now prepare for their test against King (Corpus Christi, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, King went down by Ray (Corpus Christi, TX), 94-61, in a league test.
