Texas High School Basketball - Morton holds off Clarendon
December 27, 2024: Clarendon, TX 79226 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Morton Indians basketball team scored a close 46-42 triumph over the Clarendon Broncos.
The Indians (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Klondike (Lamesa, TX). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Klondike was tipped by Itasca (Itasca, TX), 46-28, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Broncos confront the Wellington Skyrockets (Wellington, TX) in a 2A Region I District 2 contest, on Tuesday, December 31. Clarendon will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Skyrockets go into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 41-34 non-league loss to Valley (Turkey, TX).
