December 27, 2024: Farmville, NC 27828 Davidson Day Patriots (Davidson, NC) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Farmville Central Jaguars (Farmville, NC), 68-61 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Davidson Day advances its record to 13-9 on the year. The Patriots travel to Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC) to meet the Ravens in a non-league match on Monday, December 30. The Ravens enter the match with a record of 8-6. Ravenscroft won 72-66 in their recent non-league match against Greenfield (Wilson, NC)
The Jaguars now own a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a 2A Eastern Plains match on Friday, January 3. Farmville Central will meet a Pam Pack squad coming off a 63-57 non-league loss to Garner (Garner, NC). The Pam Pack record now stands at 7-3.
