Illinois High School Basketball - Oakwood victorious over Ridgeview
December 27, 2024: Fithian, IL 61844 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Oakwood Comets basketball team scored a good 52-41 triumph over the Ridgeview Mustangs.
The Comets (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Watseka (Watseka, IL). The Warriors go into the Vermilion Valley contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Watseka was topped by Iroquois West (Gilman, IL), 51-35, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Neoga Indians (Neoga, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Ridgeview will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 76-36 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, IL).
