In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Milan Indians basketball team scored a close 68-66 triumph over the Western Boone Stars.

The Indians (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against South Ripley (Versailles, IN). The Raiders go into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record.

The Stars now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southmont for a non-league match on Friday, January 9. Western Boone will face a Mounties squad coming off a 62-50 league loss to Greencastle (Greencastle, IN). The Mounties record now stands at 1-3.
