Michigan High School Basketball - Central Lake can't hold off Catholic Central
December 28, 2022: Manistee, MI 49660 The Catholic Central Sabers basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Central Lake Trojans to 41 in the Sabers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Sabers now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frankfort for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Catholic Central will battle a Panthers team coming off a 61-57 non-league win over Calvary Christian (Fruitport, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.
The Trojans (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Calvary Christian (Fruitport, MI). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Calvary Christian was nudged by Frankfort (Frankfort, MI), 61-57, in a non-league contest.
