The Pike County Pirates basketball team (Zebulon, GA), was overwhelmed 62-32 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA)

The Braves now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Douglas County for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 29. Heard County will battle a Tigers team coming off a 52-51 non-league win over M.L. King (Lithonia, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-7.
