The Milby Buffs basketball team (Houston, TX), was toppled 61-48 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Lee Ganders (Baytown, TX)

The Ganders now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Port Neches-Groves for a 5A Region III District 17 battle on Tuesday, January 3. Lee will confront a Indians team coming off a 48-43 league win over Crosby (Crosby, TX). The Indians record now stands at 11-4.

The Buffs (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Chavez (Houston, TX). The Lobos come into the non-league battle with a 6-14 record. In their last battle, Chavez beat Iola (Iola, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
