Virginia High School Basketball - Western Albemarle crushes West Potomac
December 28, 2022: Alexandria, VA 22307 Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA), 63-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Western Albemarle upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Albemarle won 69-45 in their recent non-league bout against Riverside (Leesburg, VA)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Robinson Rams (Fairfax, VA) in a District 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. West Potomac will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 59-43 non-league loss to Colonial Forge (Stafford, VA).
