December 28, 2022: Shreveport, LA 71118 In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Albany Hornets basketball team scored a good 46-34 triumph over the Southwood Cowboys.
In their next game, the Hornets meet the Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 29. Albany will attempt to move on its 18-0 season record. The Bearcats enter the match with a 6-4 record after their 58-25 non-league loss to Wossman (Monroe, LA).
With the defeat, Southwood moves to 13-3 on the year. The Cowboys host Parkway (Bossier City, LA) to meet the Panthers in a 5A District 1 match on Tuesday, January 3. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 10-4.
