Illinois High School Basketball - South Elgin nips Buffalo Grove
December 28, 2022: Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL), 44-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, South Elgin upgrades its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Naperville Central (Naperville, IL) to play the Redhawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Redhawks come into the bout with a record of 7-9. Naperville Central won 65-30 in their recent non-league bout against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL)
Next up, the Bison play the Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - East bout, on Friday, January 6. Buffalo Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record.
