Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN) and the host Carroll Cougars (Flora, IN), saw Western's basketball squad knock off Carroll by a count of 63-47.

With the victory, Western upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to University (Carmel, IN) to play the Trailblazers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a record of 8-4.

Next up, the Cougars play the Delphi Community Oracles (Delphi, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland challenge, on Friday, January 6. Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 15-2 season record.
