Virginia High School Basketball - Lightridge overwhelms Manassas Park
December 28, 2022: Aldie, VA 20105 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA) and the visiting Manassas Park Cougars (Manassas Park, VA), saw Lightridge's basketball squad wallop Manassas Park by a tally of 44-15.
With the victory, Lightridge improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bolts host John Champe (Aldie, VA) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. John Champe lost 75-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA)
Next up, the Cougars play the Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Manassas Park will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record.
