Illinois High School Basketball - Paris thwarts Lutheran
December 28, 2022: Rockford, IL 61114 The Paris Tigers (Paris, IL) basketball knocked off the host Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL), 55-35 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (15-0) will now prepare for their test against Sherrard (Sherrard, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, Sherrard notched a victory over Normal University (Normal, IL), 41-25, in a non-league test.
The Crusaders now own a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Normal University for a non-league test on Thursday, December 29. Lutheran will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 41-25 non-league loss to Sherrard (Sherrard, IL). The Pioneers record now stands at 4-10.
