South Dakota High School Basketball - McCook Central/Montrose topped by Ethan
December 28, 2023: Ethan, SD 57334 The Ethan Rustlers basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars to 42 in the Rustlers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Rustlers now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scotland for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Ethan will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 65-54 non-league loss to Burke (Burke, SD). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-4.
The Fighting Cougars (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Centerville (Centerville, SD). The Tornadoes come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Centerville prevailed over Gayville-Volin (Gayville, SD), 64-38, in a league contest.
