The M.L. King Lions (Lithonia, GA) basketball nipped the host Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA), 52-50 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Lions (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Callaway (Hogansville, GA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Callaway was tipped by New Faith Christian Academy (Riverdale, GA), 65-62, in a non-league test.
