Texas High School Basketball - Frenship nips Abernathy
December 28, 2023: Wolfforth, TX 79382 Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Abernathy Antelopes (Abernathy, TX), 44-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Frenship upgrades its record to 19-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Coronado (Lubbock, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 8-12. Coronado lost 65-36 in their recent non-league bout against Tascosa (Amarillo, TX)
Next up, the Antelopes play the Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Abernathy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 59-45 non-league loss to Plainview (Plainview, TX).
