Texas High School Basketball - Martin nips Krum
December 28, 2023: Krum, TX 76249 Martin Warriors (Arlington, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Krum Bobcats (Krum, TX), 40-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Martin upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Warriors host Lamar (Arlington, TX) to play the Vikings in a 6A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Lamar lost 46-43 in their recent league bout against Haltom (Haltom City, TX)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Krum will attempt to upgrade on its 16-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 13-7 record after their 53-36 non-league loss to Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX).
