December 28, 2024: South Lyon, MI 48178 South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Bloomfield Hills Black Hawks (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 66-56 in a non-league match.
With the victory, South Lyon East advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Salem (Canton, MI) to face the Rocks in a non-league match on Friday, January 3. The Rocks enter the match with a record of 4-3. Salem won 60-56 in their recent non-league match against New Haven (New Haven, MI)
The Black Hawks now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rochester for a non-league match on Friday, January 3. Bloomfield Hills will face a Falcons squad coming off a 45-38 non-league loss to Thurston (Redford, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 4-4.
