Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers (Laurel, MD) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Parkdale Panthers (Riverdale, MD), 90-85 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North advances its record to 2-4 on the year. The Tigers host Crossland (Temple Hills, MD) to face the Cavaliers in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A match on Tuesday, January 7. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 4-2. Crossland won 69-5 in their recent league match against International High School at Largo (Largo, MD)

The Panthers now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Flowers for a Prince George's County 4A match on Tuesday, January 7. Parkdale will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 61-50 non-league win over Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-1.
