December 29, 2020: Cornell, WI 54732 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Gilmanton Panthers (Gilmanton, WI) and the host Cornell Chiefs (Cornell, WI), saw Gilmanton's basketball squad overcome Cornell by a tally of 55-38.
With the victory, Gilmanton improves its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Independence (Independence, WI) to confront the Indees in a Dairyland - Small challenge on Monday, January 4. The Indees come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Independence won 53-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Elmwood/Plum City (Elmwood, WI)
Next up, the Chiefs confront the Lac Courte Oreilles Eagles (Hayward, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 8. Cornell will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record.
