The Fishers Tigers (Fishers, IN) basketball crushed the visiting Merrillville Pirates (Merrillville, IN), 74-28 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Tigers (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Lafayette Jefferson (Lafayette, IN). The Bronchos go into the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Lafayette Jefferson walloped Indianapolis Shortridge (Indianapolis, IN), 64-36, in a non-league test.

The Pirates now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Huntington North for a non-league test on Thursday, December 30. Merrillville will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 65-44 non-league win over Lake Central (St. John, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 5-4.
