Illinois High School Basketball - Urbana nudges Germantown
December 29, 2023: Urbana, IL 61801 In Friday's non-league outing, the Urbana Tigers (Urbana, IL) basketball squad edged the visiting Germantown Red Devils (Germantown, TN), by a margin of 61-56.
The Tigers (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Purple Raiders go into the Big Twelve outing with a 0-12 record. In their last outing, Bloomington was tipped by New Trier (Winnetka, IL), 89-49, in a non-league outing.
The Red Devils now own a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Poplar Bluff for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 30. Germantown will clash with a Mules squad coming off a 59-56 non-league win over Lutheran (St. Peters, MO). The Mules record now stands at 7-4.
