Minnesota High School Basketball - Worthington crushes Henning
December 29, 2023: Worthington, MN 56187 Worthington Trojans (Worthington, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Henning Hornets (Henning, MN), 80-56 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Worthington upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Western Christian (Hull, IA) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Wolfpack come into the bout with a record of 7-1. Western Christian won 51-41 in their recent non-league bout against Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Sergeant Bluff, IA)
Next up, the Hornets play the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines (Wadena, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Henning will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Wolverines come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 82-65 non-league win over Frazee (Frazee, MN).
