Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV) and the host Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV), saw Damonte Ranch's basketball squad hold off Churchill County by a tally of 51-45.

With the victory, Damonte Ranch improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to McQueen (Reno, NV) to confront the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. McQueen lost 46-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Galena (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Greenwave confront the Elko Indians (Elko, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Churchill County will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 48-13 non-league loss to Douglas (Minden, NV).
