New Mexico High School Basketball - Albuquerque Academy nudges Lovington

Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM), 52-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Albuquerque Academy upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Chargers travel to Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Ravens in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Ravens go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Rio Grande lost 49-46 in their recent non-league bout against Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Lovington will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record.
