Texas High School Basketball - Lindsay tops Blue Ridge
December 29, 2023: Lindsay, TX 76250 Lindsay Knights (Lindsay, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Blue Ridge Tigers (Blue Ridge, TX), 53-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lindsay upgrades its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Alvord (Alvord, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Region II District 13 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 4-11. Alvord lost 71-58 in their recent non-league bout against Saint Jo (Saint Jo, TX)
Next up, the Tigers play the Leonard Tigers (Leonard, TX) in a 3A Region II District 11 bout, on Friday, January 5. Blue Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record.
