Oceanside Pirates (Oceanside, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host University City Centurions (San Diego, CA), 62-24 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Oceanside advances its record to 4-5 on the year. The Pirates travel to Sacred Heart of Jesus (Los Angeles, CA) to face the Comets in a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 30. The Comets go into the contest with a record of 9-3. Sacred Heart of Jesus won 49-42 in their recent non-league contest against El Camino (Oceanside, CA)

In their next game, the Centurions confront the Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 30. University City will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 5-4 record after their 54-38 non-league win over Point Loma (San Diego, CA).
