Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) and the host Portola Tigers (Portola, CA), saw North Tahoe's basketball squad overcome Portola by a tally of 72-55.

With the victory, North Tahoe improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Golden Sierra (Garden Valley, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 5. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Golden Sierra lost 76-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Colfax (Colfax, CA)
