Texas High School Basketball - Cooper holds off Northland Christian
December 3, 2020: The Woodlands, TX 77381 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Cooper Dragons (The Woodlands, TX) and the visiting Northland Christian Cougars (Houston, TX), saw Cooper's basketball squad hold off Northland Christian by a tally of 52-49.
With the victory, Cooper improves its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Frassati Catholic (Spring, TX) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 5. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Frassati Catholic won 67-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Lifestyle Christian (Conroe, TX)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Calvary Baptist Eagles (Conroe, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 4. Northland Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 81-43 league loss to Covenant Academy (Cypress, TX).
