Iowa High School Basketball - West Monona knocked off by West Harrison
December 3, 2020: Mondamin, IA 51557 The West Harrison Hawkeyes basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting West Monona Spartans to 60 in the Hawkeyes league triumph on Thursday.
The Hawkeyes now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host CAM for a non-league contest on Friday, December 4. West Harrison will meet a Cougars team coming off a 46-45 non-league loss to Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA). The enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute was outscored by Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA), 71-55, in a non-league contest.
