The Alcorn Central Bears basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Belmont Cardinals to 43 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Booneville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 10.

The Cardinals (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Phil Campbell (Phil Campbell, AL). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Phil Campbell ran past Tharptown (Russellville, AL), 83-47, in a non-league contest.
